Our Story

We set out to build Sygnia because we believed we could make a difference and deliver a real and enduring impact to the security of organizations. Sygnia exists to help organizations build their resilience, to defeat attacks, and to excel in the age of cyber. We build the technology and services company that we ourselves would want to hire. We go where we are really needed, and we perform with the highest level of professional excellence, commitment, and determination. These are the things that define who we are.

Executive Leadership

Shachar Levy

CEO, Founder

Shachar brings over 25 years of experience in strategy, cyber, research, and business leadership in government and the private sector. He founded Sygnia in 2015.  Shachar holds a Bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University and Master’s degrees from Harvard University and from Bar Ilan University (summa cum laude). He often speaks to executive managements and professional forums on the challenges and opportunities of cyber.

Ami Kor

VP Enterprise Security, Co-Founder

Ami brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise security, network and systems secure design, engineering, and consulting. Before joining Sygnia, he was VP Technologies and CTO for Avnet Cyber & Information Security. Prior to that, Ami established and managed different engineering groups in a large ITSP and held senior positions in technology companies. Ami holds a Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and in Law from Haifa University, a CCISO certification from EC-Council, as well as multiple professional certifications from major vendors.

Limor Schwartz

CFO

Limor brings over 15 years of experience as CFO, working at leading companies in high-growth categories through mergers, acquisitions, and organic growth. Before joining Sygnia, Limor served as CFO at Traffix (acquired by F5 Networks), cVidya (acquired by AMDOCS), and AposTherapy. She was global senior manager at PWC. Limor is a CPA and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from The College of Management , as well as an MBA in Business, Banking and M&As from Manchester University.

Ram Elboim

SVP Strategic Services

Ram brings over 25 years of experience in messaging, intelligence systems, and cyber. Before joining Sygnia, Ram was VP R&D in Goji Israel. Previously he served in VP, CTO, Business Development and Professional Services positions in Ectel, Verint, and Verdasys, and consulted to  companies such as Elbit and Nice. Ram formerly also held positions within Unit 8200,  IDF’s elite cyber and intelligence unit. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (cum laude) and a Master of Science in Physics from the Hebrew University, and an MBA (cum laude) from Edinburgh Business School.

Gadi Lifshitz

VP Technologies

Gadi brings over 20 years of experience in cyber and software engineering management. He previously served as VP R&D and General Manager at SafeBreach. Previously he held a VP R&D position in Sears and Engineering Management positions in British Telecom and Cisco. Gadi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel Aviv and an MBA (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

Ofir Brukner

Head of R&D

Ofir brings over 10 years of experience in large-scale, cyber-related systems design and development. Before joining Sygnia, he was a senior tech leader in Unit 8200, the IDF’s elite cyber and intelligence unit. Previously he held several team leader and developer positions in the organization. Ofir holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the IDC.

Adam Finkelstein

VP Cyber Security Services, NA

Adam brings over 15 years of experience in cyber security consulting and leadership. He managed large scale cyber security projects and was the trusted advisor to leading organizations worldwide. Before joining Sygnia, Adam held different positions at Comsec Consulting, including managing the company’s activities in Europe. He was also a consulting account manager at Northgate-IS. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from Manchester University School of Management and a Master of Science from the London School of Economics.

Arie Zilberstein

VP Incident Response

Arie brings over 10 years of experience in incident response and forensic investigations, security research, development and cyber operations. Before joining Sygnia, he held leading research and command operations positions Unit 8200, IDF’s elite cyber and intelligence unit. He also held management roles in innovative research and development projects that won prestigious security award. Arie holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University.

Sharon Isaaci

VP Cyber Security Services, Delivery

Sharon brings over 20 years of experience in security, intelligence, cyber and strategic planning. Before joining Sygnia, he trained cyber security leaders at security organizations and academia. Sharon was a Corporate Business Development Manager at Rafael Defense Systems. Prior to this, he held various command positions in Israel Defense Forces (IDF), among them Chief Intelligence Officer and CISO of the Home Front Command. He holds a Bachelor and Master’s degrees (magna cum laude) from Tel Aviv University, as well as CISSP, CISM and CISO certificates.

Netta Nahum

VP People

Netta Brings over 10 years of experience in human capital management in various industries and organizations. Before joining Sygnia, Netta was the HR leader at Tyto Care, EMEA HR Director at Kaminario, and an advisory board member at several startup companies. She also managed HR for an elite special forces unit and after that led recruitment at a technological unit of Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Netta holds a M.Sc. degree in Medical Science from Ben Gurion University.

Guy Segal

VP Cyber Security Service, APAC

Guy brings over 25 years of experience in cyber technology, analytics operations and business leadership. Before joining Sygnia, he was General Manager of Custodio-Technologies, and before that was Cyber Security Leader of IBM in Israel. Guy previously served in various professional and command roles in Unit 8200, IDF’s elite cyber and intelligence unit. He holds an EMBA from Ben-Gurion University. In the last few years he was also teaching cyber foundations to MBA students.

David Warshavski

Director, Enterprise Security

David brings over 10 years of experience in cyber consulting and offensive cyber security. Prior to his current position, he led Sygnia’s Adversarial Tactics group, managing Red and Purple Teaming, vulnerability research, offensive tool development and and assisting in complex forensic investigations. Before joining Sygnia he worked for Comsec Consulting and served in cyber and technology positions at the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Department of Defense, and Unit 8200 - IDF’s elite cyber and intelligence unit. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Steve Surdu

Senior Advisor

Steve brings over 30 years of cyber leadership and consulting experience - including the management of numerous large-scale computer breaches.   From 2007 to 2014, Steve served as VP Professional Services at Mandiant, where he oversaw all aspects of the company’s consulting organization. During this time, his group conducted nearly 350 investigations while working for more than 30 percent of the Fortune 100 companies. Steve previously held key consulting and management positions at Accenture, Cerner Corporation, BBN Technologies, and Foundstone. Steve earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Nadav Zafrir

Chairman

Nadav is the co-founder and CEO of Team8. Previously, Nadav was the commander of Unit 8200, the IDF’s elite cyber and intelligence unit, as well as a founder of the IDF Cyber Command. He brings more than 25 years of extensive experience in cyber leadership, technology management, and operations. Nadav earned a Bachelor of Laws from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya and an MBA from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Keat Chuan YEOH

Board Member

Keat Chuan (KC) Yeoh is Managing Director, Enterprise Development Group of Temasek. Before Joining Temasek in 2017 he was Managing Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). Prior to this, he was EDB's Assistant Managing Director, overseeing a number of industry sectors as well as corporate and strategic planning. KC has held Director level positions in EDB since 2005, overseeing divisions including the Americas and Biomedical Science clusters. He is a Glaxo-EDB scholar who earned a Masters of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the University of London. He attended Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, Masters in Management Science programme, and graduated as a Sloan Fellow.

Rony Grushka

Board Member

Rony brings over 20 years of experience in financial management and governance, entrepreneurship and executive leadership, as well as an investor, partner and board member of companies across industries. Amongst his roles he was a co-founder and CFO and Head of Strategy of Markit Group Limited (NASDAQ:INFO), which he led to an IPO; a Special Advisor to General Atlantic Private Equity Group; and a Governor at London School of Economics and Political Sciences. He also serves on the board of Cappitech regulation, Algomi, Vatbox and Namogoo. Rony has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University and a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics (LSE).

Rashmy Chatterjee

Board Member

Rashmy is the President and CEO of Temasek Global Cyber Security Platform. She brings over 30 years of experience in strategy, sales and marketing, specifically in the areas of Software and Cybersecurity. Rashmy spent two decades at IBM and her recent roles were Global Cybersecurity Sales leader and Chief Marketing Officer for IBM North America. She was also responsible for the integration of Q1 Labs into IBM and a key member of the leadership team that established IBM Security division. Rashmy earned an Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and is a fellow of the International Marketing Academy.
