The Role

Sygnia is seeking a skilled and client-facing Sales Engineer to support the expansion of our Proactive Services offering. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to prospective and existing clients, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will lead the technical aspects of the pre-sales process, contribute to post-sales support, and work closely with internal teams to drive growth.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in cybersecurity, combined with proven experience in sales engineering or technical consulting. You should be equally comfortable discussing security strategies with executives and explaining technical details to internal and external stakeholders.  

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a technical lead in pre-sales engagements, including proposals, solution designs, and supporting documentation.
  • Deliver tailored presentations and services demonstrations to highlight the value of Sygnia’s Proactive Services
  • Assess client needs and recommend the right solutions based on their environment maturity, threat landscape, and detection and response requirements.
  • Partner with Client Leaders, Delivery, and Operations to relay client feedback and influence service development. 
  • Contribute to refinement of Sygnia’s sales messaging, collateral, and technical content.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and cultivating relationships with prospective clients. 
  • Develop and implement tools, frameworks, and resources to maximize win rates in competitive opportunities. 

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a global, client-facing role within the cybersecurity industry (e.g., sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting). 
  • At least 5 years of experience as a cybersecurity professional, including:
  • Hands-on experience in IT, security engineering, application security, or similar positions with strong knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, IPS, proxies, WAF, DLP, AD, GPO, EDR, cloud security)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, GCP and AWS.
  • Familiarity with security design and architecture.
  • Experience in penetration testing or red teaming (a plus).
  • Deep familiarity with the cybersecurity landscape, including major vendors and industry challenges. 
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant insights for non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust across internal teams and external clients. 
  • High cultural intelligence and the ability to work effectively across regions and business cultures. 
  • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CCIE, CCSE, CCDP, CSA) are a strong advantage.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
